About the Finance Creator Network
The FCN brings financial firms, credible finance creators, agencies and the wider industry together. Our aim is simple: to help firms and creators build better partnerships, raise standards and create financial content people can trust.
Endorsed and supported by regulators.
The FCN is an initiative endorsed and supported by regulators. We maintain regular dialogue with regulators as we develop our standards, creator framework and approach to financial creator partnerships.
Why the FCN exists
The FCN was built to bring firms and creators together - and turn a fragmented market into a more credible, more collaborative industry.
More people now use social media to learn about money, investing and financial products.
The way firms and creators work together today is still fragmented, with no shared standard.
The FCN was created to bring both sides together and build a clearer route ahead.
Our mission
To create a financial creator industry built on trust, responsibility and better collaboration.
We want to make it easier for:
Can find credible financial content they can trust.
Understand their responsibilities and build trusted careers.
Can identify and work with suitable creators.
Can engage with the creator market with confidence.
Built with the industry
The FCN is being developed through direct work with the people operating across financial services and the creator market.
Ongoing engagement with regulators as we develop the FCN standards.
Conversations with major UK banks and financial firms.
Direct input from finance creators shaping the network.
Engagement with marketing and creator agencies.
Development of creator standards and vetting.
Collaboration with stakeholders across financial services.
How the FCN started
The FCN was created by people working directly across financial services, financial advice, content creation and brand partnerships.
We could see the opportunity finance creators offered, but also the challenges faced by creators, firms and consumers. There was no central organisation bringing these groups together.
The FCN was built to fill that gap - a place where firms and creators can connect, learn from each other and help shape how the industry develops.
Who the FCN brings together
The FCN unites the people shaping the future of financial content - creators, firms, agencies and the regulator.
Creators committed to producing accurate, responsible and useful financial content.
Organisations looking to understand the creator market and build stronger partnerships.
Teams supporting firms and creators with campaigns, content and partnerships.
Stakeholders helping to shape clearer expectations and better practices across financial content.
What we stand for
Financial content should give consumers clear and accurate information.
Creators and firms should understand the influence they have and take their responsibilities seriously.
Better outcomes come from firms, creators, agencies and the wider industry working together.
Strong standards should help credible creators and responsible firms build better partnerships.
Meet the team
The FCN is led by a team with experience across financial services, financial advice, content creation, marketing and creator partnerships. We understand the challenges because we have worked directly within the industries the FCN supports.
